Hey, I’m Mike Dion – welcome to my blog. I’m a husband, father of four, web developer, Christian, and entrepreneur. Despite my conservative roots, I generally consider myself to be politically homeless and hate few things more than party lines.
I have the privilege to be married to my best female friend (cliche, I know, but true!) and to run a web & tech business with my best male friend (by way of disclaimer, the views expressed in this blog don’t necessarily represent those of our company). My kids are generally awesome, something I can’t really take any credit for but also appreciate very much.
In terms of my faith, I studied theology at the Word of Life Bible Institute in NY, and Baptist Bible College (now Clark’s Summit University) in PA. My wife and I spent a short time in Africa as we were considering overseas missions, but ultimately decided to stick it out in the States where we have both been involved in ministry in local churches in one way or another for the better part of our adult lives.
My technical education started in high school, continued through Treehouse years later, and continues to this day through both online learning platforms and by reading coding and leadership books in bed like a nerd.
Please read and maybe even consider enjoying the blog. Feel free to disagree in the comments, but keep it civil. Thanks!
